Symptoms

This error message appears when opening or editing an Access database.

Resolution

This can often happen when a database was improperly shut down i.e. during a power loss or fluctuation, drive or network failure, system crash or any other abrupt system shutdown. This error message often indicates corruption to data. We recommend that you attempt to Compact and Repair the database in the normal way.
